Installation method of new low-pressure filter

Before installing the new low-pressure filter, it is necessary to make sufficient preparations. Firstly, it is necessary to confirm the installation location, usually at the last section of the tap water inlet pipeline, to ensure that all tap water is processed through the filter. At the same time, prepare the necessary tools and materials for installation, such as wrenches, tape, filter installation kits, etc. Specific tools and materials may vary depending on the brand and model of the filter. In addition, do not open the packaging film or bag before installation to prevent dust from entering and affecting the filtration effect; If the filter is not installed immediately after purchase, it should be stored according to the label on the box; During the transportation process, handle with care to avoid squeezing or impact, and prevent damage to the machine; After purchase, a visual inspection should be conducted to check for any damage to the sealant and borders, and to confirm if there is a certificate of conformity.

During the installation process, it is necessary to strictly follow the steps. The first step is to close the tap water inlet valve. You can find the inlet valve next to the tap water main valve and close it. Step 2, connect the pipeline and use a wrench to tighten the connection between the filter adapter and the water pipeline, ensuring that the connection is securely installed and sealed. The third step is to install the filter and fix it in the appropriate position, usually using the bracket or mounting seat provided in the installation kit. Step four, connect the water outlet pipe and use tape or other sealing materials to connect the filter's water outlet pipe to the place where filtered water needs to be provided, such as a faucet or sink drain. During installation, it is important to note that the direction of water flow must be consistent with the arrow direction on the filter; For filters with drain valves, the drain valve must be facing downwards, otherwise it may not be possible to remove the garbage inside the filter screen through the drain valve, resulting in a decrease in the effective area of the filter screen, an increase in water resistance, and a decrease in system water flow; For filters with G1/4 "interfaces at both ends, temperature and pressure gauges, pressure gauges, or differential pressure transmitters can also be installed. By observing the pressure at both ends of the filter, the presence of dirt and blockage can be determined.

After installation, detailed inspection and debugging should be carried out. Open the tap water inlet valve and ensure that all connections are securely fastened and not leaking. Wait for a period of time to purify the water through the filter, then turn on the faucet or other water supply equipment to check if the filter is working properly. It is best to install shut-off valves at the inlet and outlet of the filter, so that when the filter screen needs to be removed for cleaning, the system water does not need to be drained, making the cleaning operation more convenient; When water needs to be drained in winter, the filter drain valve can also discharge the water from the system to avoid freezing and damaging the unit.
